How to make Jalebi

To make instant jalebi, first we will make sugar syrup and keep a pan on gas for it.

Now add 400 grams of sugar, 200 ml of water and dissolve the sugar on high flame.

Now add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, cook for 2 minutes, and prepare a syrup of consistency of about a string.

When the syrup thickens to about a thread, add saffron threads to it, mix well, switch off the gas and keep aside.

Now take a bowl and add 1 cup of semolina flour, 1/4 cup of curd, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix it well.

Now, slowly, add water and prepare a sticky, medium consistency batter.  Keep reading.

Now add two pinches of saffron crude color to it and mix well.

Now take a packet of milk or a ziploc packet or a bottle of tomato ketchup.

Now fill the packet with jalebi batter and seal it from the top with the help of a rubber band.

Now place a wide pan on gas, add oil/ghee and heat on medium flame.

After the ghee is heated, cut off the corners of the cone, make round jalebis in oil and fry on low flame.

Now after frying on one side, turn the jalebi to the other side and fry it well.

Now dip the jalebi in the hot syrup and let it sit in the syrup for 30-60 seconds and fry the next goon.

After 30-60 seconds remove the jalebi to a separate plate.

Now your crispy and juicy jalebi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
