Aloo Pakora | Crispy Potato Fritters

Today’s recipe is ‘Aloo Pakora’.  It is a very common and easy fritter/pakora recipe. You can enjoy this recipe as a monsoon snack with hot cup of chai/coffee or as a iftar recipe. It is basically deep-fried snack in which thin potato slices are coated with gram flour and spices batter. Serve them hot with ketchup/green chutney/any chutney of your choice.

Hello foodies !! Today’s recipe is ‘Bhakarwadi’ or bakarwadi . It is a very popular snack from Gujarat and Maharashtra. These two states holds special place in my heart, that’s the reason why I share lots of recipe from Gujarat and Maharashtra. My schooling is from Gujarat and I have spent next 15 years  in Mumbai. Let’s get back to the recipe 😀 , bhakarwadi is a spicy and sweet stuffed rolls which are deep-fried and can be stored in an air-tight container for at least 15 days easily.

Corn Chaat is one of my favourite snack. This chaat is mix of all flavours, it is sweet, tangy and spicy. Perfect for breakfast or as a tea-time snack. You can even enjoy your movie time with this chaat, in case you are not in mood of having popcorn. You can also pack this dish in your kid’s lunch box also. There are two ways of preparing this recipe, for healthier version you can boil corn kernels or corn cob (and later remove kernels), second way is stir frying kernels in butter or ghee. In this recipe, I have used second way.
