Method for Soya Keema –

  • In a deep vessel boil soya granules for 5-7 mins. Add 1/2 tsp salt while boiling. 

  • Strain water completely from soya granules by pressing granules between your palms or spoon. Keep it aside.  

  • In a pan, heat oil.

  • Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, let it splutter. 

  • Next, add chopped onion and let it saute till it turns golden in color.

  • After onions are cooked, add chopped capsicum and green peas. Cook until both the veggies are tender. 

  • Now add green chilies and chopped tomato. Cook for 2-3 mins. 

  • Add all the dry spices except all spice powder. Cook for 1-2 mins. 

  • Lastly, add boiled soya granules and allspice powder (optional) mix well. Let the keema cook till it starts releasing oil. 

  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
