Today’s recipe is ‘Sattu Ka Paratha’. It is one of my favorite paratha/flatbread recipe which is healthy because it is stuffed with sattu. Sattu is full of fiber and essential nutrients which helps in stamina and strength building. It is a staple food of Bihar state. Sattu ka paratha is best to serve during any of the three main meals.
For Sattu Ka Paratha, you will need –
Wheat Flour, sattu powder, onion, green chillies, garlic, achar masala, and few spices. The process is very simple, mix all the ingredients of stuffing together. Next, prepare paratha just like we make any stuffed paratha. Sattu ka paratha goes really well with baingan ka bharta or pickle.
Sattu powder is basically roasted Bengal gram powder. It is available in many supermarkets these days. During the summer season, sattu ka sharbat is a very healthy choice as a drink for cooling body heat. If you want a change from vegetable stuffed parathas, this is best option.
