Today’s recipe is ‘Pizza Dough Recipe’. My two most favourite fast food dishes are – Pizza and noodles. (letting you guys know just in case you are interested in my favourites 😛 ). I don’t like to depend upon the availability of pizza base in the market whenever I crave for pizza, that’s why I prepare my pizza base at home. Sharing with you all pizza dough recipe and how to prepare pizza base at home. Now on you guys can also prepare pizza base at home.
For Pizza Dough Recipe, you will need –
Maida/all purpose flour, yeast, sugar, oil, sugar and water. Please note: My base is little thin, as I love my pizza that way, you can keep the thickness of base according to your preference. As this is pizza dough recipe, I am using readymade pizza sauce. You can use any vegetable of your choice for topping, other topping options for you are – chicken, paneer, olives, jalapeno, or onions.

In a small bowl, take dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Add lukewarm water to the bowl. Let the yeast activate, it will take 10 minutes. (You will start seeing bubbles in the water, that’s the sign that yeast activated and ready to use.)
In a mixing bowl, take all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well.
Add yeast-sugar-water mix and oil in the bowl.
Prepare a smooth dough. Cover it and let the dough rest at least 2 hours.
Let the dough rest and double in size.
Divide the dough into equal parts. Let it rest for 5 mins.
When the dough is ready, dust the surface and prepare a round circle from the dough with the help of rolling pin or fingers. Keep the thickness about a half inch thick.
Grease the baking tray.
Carefully transfer the pizza base into the tray.
Apply butter on the pizza base.
Next, apply pizza sauce on the base.
Top the pizza base with the vegetables of your choice.
Grate cheese over the pizza.
Bake it for15 mins at 180 C. If the thickness of pizza is more then bake for few more minutes.
