Method for Palak Pakora –

  • Wash and chop palak/spinach leaves roughly in thin strips.

  • Add red chilli powder, salt, cumin seeds and finely chopped ginger. Mix well.

  • Next, add finely chopped onion and green chillies. Mix well and keep aside.

  • In a separate bowl take gram flour and rice flour.

  • Add the spinach mix in the flour mix.

  • In small quantity and batches add water in the mix to prepare the pakora batter.

  • Heat oil in a deep kadhai.

  • On medium flame start deep-frying pakoras till golden brown and crisp.

  • Remove pakoras on an absorbent paper.

  • Fry all the pakoras in small batches.
  • Serve it hot!
