Today’s recipe is ‘Gur Ki Chai’. It is a tea which is made of jaggery. It is a very healthy beverage recipe for seasons when the temperature drops down. So, you can enjoy it during the monsoon and winter seasons. It tastes delicious and makes your tea-time yummy and healthy. Jaggery tea is a very old recipe of winter in North India.
For Gur Ki Chai, you will require –
Jaggery/Gur, tea leaves, milk, cardamom, water, and ginger. The best part of this recipe is you can adjust the quantity of every ingredient as per your taste. I love my tea medium strong, so if you love pure milk tea skip water completely. An important step of this tea recipe is that you add jaggery at the end when you remove the tea from the flame. When you add jaggery in the tea while it is on flame there is a chance your tea may starts curdling. To avoid curdling of tea, add Gur when you switch off the flame.
