Gur ke Gulgule | Gulgule with Jaggery
Gur ke Gulgule – These are sweet fritters made of jaggery. It is a monsoon special recipe
Wheat Flour / Atta
gms or as per taste
Roasted fennel seeeds/ saunf
Elaichi / Cardamom
Method for Gur ke Gulgule | Gulgule Recipe with Jaggery –
In a pan, boil water, add jaggery in the pan.
Cook till jaggery dissolves in the water.
Let this syrup cool down.
In the meanwhile, take 1 cup wheat flour in a bowl.
Add cardamom seeds/powder and roasted fennel seeds. Mix it well.
Now, pour the jaggery syrup in the bowl. Prepare a batter of consistency same as how we prepare batter of pakora.
Lastly, add baking soda in the batter, give it a nice mix.
Start preparing gulguley with the help of spoon or fingers.
Fry all the gulguley in small batches.
Fry till golden brown in colour.
Remove on an absorbent paper.
