Gulab Sharbat Recipe | Instant Red Rose Concentrate
Gulab Sharbat – A healthy homemade red rose concentrate with homegrown roses. Enjoy summer with this sweet tangy drink.

Method for Gulab Sharbat Recipe –
Wash fresh red rose.
Pluck red rose petals.
In a deep vessel add sugar.
Add one cup of water in it. Cook on medium flame.
Add cardamom powder. Let the sugar melt.
Next, add rose petals in the sugar syrup.
Let it cook till petals start releasing color in the syrup.
Now, add citric acid.
Cook for 5 mins.
Strain syrup to get a clear red color concentrate. (Do not throw away sugar soaked rose petals, you can use it as a gulkand later.)
Now, add rose essence and edible red color in the concentrate.
Let the concentrate cool down. Store it in a glass bottle.
You can prepare sharbat as soon as the concentrate cools down. Add 2-3 Tbsps of concentrate in a glass of water. Adjust according to your taste.
