Today’s recipe is ‘ Green Chutney / Hara Dhaniya Chutney‘. It is a quick and easy recipe for very common and popular chutney of India. Green chutney is basically a dip which is prepared from green coriander and mint leaves. It goes well with every Indian snack, paratha and chaat.
For Hara Dhaniya Chutney, you will require –
Green coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilli, tomatoes, lemon, sugar, salt, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, and ginger. To make chutney more spicy increase green chillies. Always use fresh coriander and mint leaves for chutney. Sugar gives this chutney beautiful colour. It is healthy chutney, which is easy to prepare.
You can store this chutney in the refrigerator for two-three weeks. While preparing this chutney do not add water, if storing it. You can use this chutney for making chaat, biryani, sandwich and rolls. It is Ramadan time, prepare it in advance and store for further use.
