Chicken Lollipop Recipe (Starter Recipe)

Today’s recipe is ‘Chicken Lollipop‘. It is a popular chicken appetizer dish. You can serve it with schezwan sauce/green chutney and onion salad. The lollipop shape is made from chicken wings/thigh by cutting lose meat from the bone and pushed back to create a lollipop like an appearance.

Chicken Lollipop recipe requires –

Lollipop shaped chicken wings, egg, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, red chilli sauce, soy sauce and few spices. This chicken appetizer is loved by every age group equally. This dish one can freeze it for two-three days to use it later.

Method for Chicken Lollipop Recipe - 

  • Wash chicken lollipop pieces. 

  • In a mixing bowl take chicken pieces, egg, red chilli powder, salt, red chilli sauce, soy sauce and chaat masala. 

  • Mix it well. Marinate chicken pieces for at least half n hour. 

  • After half n hour, add corn flour in the marinated chicken lollipop. Mix well.

  • Heat oil. 
  • Start frying marinated chicken pieces in batches on medium to high flame. 

  • Fry all the pieces and remove chicken lollipop on an absorbent paper. 
  • Serve hot along with onion rings, lemon wedge and any spicy chutney/sauce of your choice.
