Method for Cheese Paratha –

  • In a mixing bowl take wheat flour and salt.
  • Knead a soft dough with the help of water. Rest the dough for 10-15 mins.
  • In the meantime, prepare the stuffing for paratha, take grated cheese, salt, chaat masala, green chillies, crushed black peppercorn and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and keep it aside.
  • Divide the dough into two small balls of equal size.
  • Prepare two thin chapatis of equal of size.
  • Spread the cheese stuffing over one the top of one chapati.
  • Cover the chapati with the first chapati.
  • Gently press the sides and seal the edges with fingertips.
  • Heat the griddle/tawa.
  • Start cooking paratha over it over medium heat.
  • When paratha is cooked partially from one side flip it on another side.
  • At this stage spread oil/ghee/butter on the partially cooked side. Flip again and cook it fully this time.
  • Spread oil/ghee/butter on the other side too and let the paratha cook till dark brown small spots start appearing on it.
  •  Cheese paratha is ready to serve. Serve it hot with curd/chutney/ketchup/koshimbir.
