Ingredients
  • 1.5cup Wheat Flour / Atta
  • 1/2 cup or as required Water
  • 3tbsps or as required Sugar
  • 2-3tbsps as required Ghee(for cooking as well as applying inside paratha)
  • 1/8th tsp (optional) Salt

Method for Cheeni Ka Paratha | Sugar Paratha Recipe |Meetha Paratha –

  • Knead a soft dough. Keep it aside for 10 minutes. 

  • Divide it into two equal portions. 
  • Prepare a ball out of one portion, flatten it and dust with flour. 

  • Prepare a round chapati from it. 

  • On top surface, apply ghee generously. 

  • Sprinkle sugar on the ghee layer, 1.5 tbsp or as per taste. 

  • Fold it from all side, and make a paratha from it. 

  • Heat tawa/girddle/skillet, palce paratha on it.

  • Let it partially cook from one side.
  • Flip it and apply ghee, cook from both sides till crisp. 

  • Repeat same steps for remaining dough. 
  • Serve hot!
