Ingredients for Aloo Matar Pulao

Rice (uncooked)2 cups (heaped)
Green peas3/4 cup
Potato (cubed)2 (medium size)
Tomato2 (small size)
Green chilli4-5
Black peppercorn5-6
Cloves3-4
Cardamom1
Cinnamon stick1"
Bay leaf1
Red chilli powder1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste1 tsp
Coriander powder1.5 tsp
Salt1 tsp or as per taste
Oil2 tbsp
Water4 cups
Onion (sliced)1 (large)

Method for Aloo Matar Pulao

  • Wash rice and keep it aside. Wash green peas and chop potatoes and all other vegetables.

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add black peppercorn, cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cardamom. Cook for 2-3 mins.
